Will #Brexit change into #Bregret for hotel workers?
Hotels in Great Britain could lose majority of their staff after leaving the EU. A study of Oxford University Migration Observatory revealed that most of EU workers must leave if regulations for immigrants would be modified.
British government plans to apply immigrants rules for hotel workers from the EU, too. Minimum income should be raised to 30,000 GBP per year. With an income below as the most staff members of hotels and restaurants earne, you have to leave the UK.
Most of hotel staff in the UK has an annual income from only 20,800 GBP, approx. 26,000 Euro.
So, leaving EU would have heavy consequences for British hotels.
