Perfect lines, breathtaking ?cliff jumps and acrobatic tricks in the untouched powder of the notorious ?Ostwand? will be on show . Participants will compete for World Cup points and starting spots? ? an adrenalin-fuelled feast for the eyes of guests who can follow the spectacle live from the spectator area at the ?8er Alm?. Hochf?gener ?Seilrennen? celebrates major anniversary
For the fiftieth time this winter,? three-person teams of skiers will ??put a rope around their hips and ski down the mountain?! A racing weekend full of highlights awaits participants and fans at this year?s ?Hochf?gen Rope Race?, marking the anniversary of the annual Hochf?gen race in grand and cheerful style!

Immaculate slopes the entire day thanks to ?the White Carpet
The White Carpet in the Zillertal Arena is an absolute innovation! Who doesn?t want to ski down a perfectly groomed slope and enjoy a virginal downhill run on a white carpet ? and not only early in the morning? This wish comes true on the ?White Carpet?! In the Zillertal Arena, two slopes are freshly prepared three times a week at noon throughout ?January and February!

The new Kreuzwiesn-X-Press in the Zillertal Arena provides more fun! The new 6-person chair lift with orange weather-proof protective covers replaces the previous chair lift and provides even more comfort for Zillertal Arena guests.

Mayrhofen invites visitors for the first time to the spectacular ?Rise & Fall? winter opening
On 15.12.2012 ?for the first time in Mayrhofen: four people, one team and no mercy! Top athletes from the disciplines ?ski mountaineering, paragliding, mountain biking and skiing will prove their skills for the first time in an extraordinary relay competition staged around the Ahorn. In addition to a first-class supporting programme, a concert with high-calibre live act will follow the award ceremony!

World first at Hintertux Glacier

The new 10-person ?Gefrorene Wand? gondola on the ?Hintertux Glacier leads from Tuxer Fernerhaus (2,660 m) directly to the glacier ski area at 3,033 metres. The worldwide first 10-person gondola? made by Doppelmayr features heated seats and replaces the ?Gefrorene Wand 3a? double chair lift.

?Shreadheadz? will find an ultimate playground for improving their skills in the new Winterpark Hintertux at Sommerberg. The 4-person Tuxerjoch lift with bubble will comfortably transport ?everybody. As a result, the freestyle winter will be prolonged and, with the exception of the short break ?in August, the park will now be open throughout the year for? Hintertux Glacier fun.
